Carbon neutrality issues

According to the definition, carbon neutrality refers to the "anthropogenic extra" carbon emissions emitted into the atmosphere by a country or an enterprise, which is removed by energy conservation and emission reduction or afforestation, or the use of carbon trading to obtain carbon rights to offset them, so as to achieve positive and negative offsets, and nominally do not produce additional carbon; When emissions are balanced against removals, it's carbon neutral.

Taiwan is moving towards two stages of net zero emissions by 2050

Phase 1 : Energy Transition (Launched in 2016)

Greening, gas augmentation, coal reduction, non-nuclear

In the past, it kept procrastinating, but now it is sprinting with all its might

Phase 2 : Net Zero Transformation (Launched in 2021)

From the perspective of industry, environment, government governance, national security, etc. Comprehensively plan the path to carbon reduction and turn climate challenges into opportunities

Advantages of FERT solar streetlights:

1. Five-year warranty

2. Intelligent control, regardless of power outage rain, every day lights up

3. Solar bracket is fixed and strengthened around and installed at a low place (about 3-4 meters high)

4. Withstands 15 levels of wind

5. 2 times lower price than LED lights with the same brightness

6. Lower than the electricity price of LED streetlights for 5 years

7. Energy saving, carbon reduction, environmental protection

8. The cost of storing energy after renewable energy generation and then using streetlamps is lower

9. Lithium batteries are recycled products using electric vehicle batteries, which is more environmentally friendly

Note: In the area south of Taichung, streetlights use pure solar type streetlights.

In the area north of Hsinchu, streetlights use a mixture of solar energy and mains power.
